This painting is about past and present for me – respect for their land and for the people who belong to this place. Okay, that’s good.

This year we all decided to do one big painting together for the Desert Mob exhibition. The painting is about our ancestors, to pay our respects.

This is the first time I have ever done a group painting. We wanted to do a painting that paid respect to the people of the past.

This was my first group painting and it will be the first time I am in Desert Mob. It was fun and I can’t wait to see it.
