In the afternoon, when the colours change, a special light falls on the country making the hills glow. This is what I was trying to express in my painting. We had been experimenting with spray paint on the base coat, and on top of the base I build up detail and dots. I am really proud to be in Desert Mob again this year.
Desert Mob is presented annually in Mparntwe | Alice Springs on Arrernte Country.
