This painting tells a little story that came to me when I was working on the canvas. It is about a flame tree, growing big through the seasons, through the wet season and the rain – and when the rain stops the tree loses all its leaves, and becomes a flame tree.

Desert Mob is presented annually in Mparntwe | Alice Springs on Arrernte Country.
