Nora Campbell loves to paint tjulpu (birds). Each tjulpu has its own unique character lovingly created with Nora’s great imagination, her love of colour and attention to detail.

Nora is a much-loved and talented senior artist in Titjikala and has been working at Tapatjatjaka Art & Craft Centre since it was incorporated in 2009 and before that at the Women’s Centre which would run art programs. Nora excels in all forms of arts and crafts, and her style translates to any medium she turns her hand to; from ceramics and weaving to painting, printmaking, felting and batik. She is also an exceptional storyteller, has a very sharp eye and prolific memory.

Desert Mob is presented annually in Mparntwe | Alice Springs on Arrernte Country.
