Cheryl Oliver was born in Mparntwe (Alice Springs) and grew up at Ltyentye Apurte (Santa Teresa). Cheryl’s grandmother and mother were born at Arltunga and were brought to Santa Teresa mission. Cheryl’s father comes from the Undoolya area, east of Mparntwe.
